Support for AUEB Social Welfare Initiatives
The program aims to assist various groups of students requiring special support in meeting the demands of their studies at AUEB, fully utilizing the institution's services, and completing their studies on time. The program targets three groups of students: students with disabilities, students from low-income backgrounds, and students who are delaying the completion of their studies.
- Measures are in place to facilitate physical access to AUEB facilities for students with disabilities (such as ramps and special signage), as well as their access to AUEB services (through specialized equipment and accessibility software); finally, financial support is provided to help them meet the increased cost of living associated with their studies at AUEB.
- Financial support measures are provided for students from low-income backgrounds to help them meet the costs associated with their studies at AUEB.
- For students delaying the completion of their studies, the service for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health issues—which lead to academic failure and the continuous extension of studies—has been strengthened.
